The CW has found great success with Greg Berlanti’s and Warner Bros. TV series based on DC properties. So much success that they ended up picking up the Supergirl license after talks for renewal with CBS stalled over budgetary issues. Combined, it makes up just under half the total hours of programming the CW airs. If you count Vertigo based I, Zombie half of the CW’s current catalog is based off a DC Entertainment property.
